About owner and founder Tracy Bury
"… strong leadership in strategic planning, risk analysis and control, cultural sensitivity, finance management"
Suh-Fang Jeng, Vice President, World Physiotherapy
Practitioner. Executive. Adviser. A career built at the intersection of associations and the business events sector.
Tracy Bury brings a perspective that few advisers can offer: she has worked in international associations as a health professional and member, as an association executive and leader, as a volunteer board member and president, and now as an independent strategic adviser. That breadth is not incidental, it is the foundation of how she works.
Where many advisers bring frameworks to a problem, Tracy brings lived experience of the decisions, dynamics, and trade-offs that boards and senior leaders actually face. She understands what it means to govern under pressure, to lead through complexity, and to deliver results in organisations where purpose, people, and pragmatism must all be held together.
Tracy was recognised as one of the women leading and advancing associations for International Women's Day 2021. Outside of work she regularly practices Pilates, is an enthusiastic gardener, loves to be outdoors helped along by two energetic labradoodles, and has a lifelong passion for travel and different cultures. And the name Operandi? Inspired by a love of crime thrillers and the investigation of MOs, because how you work matters as much as what you deliver.
